Prayer and voice controls
The emotion wheel has equivalent labeled buttons and does not require color recognition or dragging. Every spoken response has readable text; voice is optional and includes stop and mute controls. On-device recognition and local voices vary by browser. Reduced-motion settings turn off the new wheel reveal and voice-state animation.
Our approach
SELAH37 aims to make Bible study usable by people with different abilities and devices. The site uses semantic page regions, labeled controls, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, responsive layouts, readable contrast, and reduced-motion support. There is no autoplay audio.
Reading and controls
Use the keyboard to move through links and buttons, Escape to close dialogs, and the theme control to switch appearance. Reading mode hides surrounding navigation while keeping an exit button available. Journals and progress do not require an account. You can enlarge text with your browser controls.
Known limits
This statement is a commitment to improvement, not a certification of full WCAG conformance. PDF guides are not currently tagged as accessible PDFs; use the equivalent HTML study pages for structured reading. Independent external resources and the hosting sign-in interface are outside our direct control. Assistive-technology testing across all devices remains an ongoing responsibility.
