Paul addresses a gifted but fractured church. Arguments over leaders, sexual conduct, lawsuits, worship, and spiritual gifts reveal a community forgetting the shape of the cross. Freedom must serve a neighbor rather than protect personal status. Love gives gifts their proper purpose. The resurrection of Jesus grounds Christian hope and makes faithful work meaningful even when it seems unnoticed.
