AN ORIGINAL SELAH37 PRAYER
Father, my thoughts keep circling what I cannot control. I bring you this worry without pretending it is small. Help me name what I need, receive help, and take the next faithful step. Give me patience with my body and mind. Let your peace accompany me as I seek wise support. Amen.

Biblical foundation
Paul invites a praying community to bring requests to God. Peace is not a test of whether someone has enough faith; persistent anxiety can also call for professional care.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
